I think the main reason I enjoy this is because it could very well serve as THE prequel to the series. It has all the character quirks and dialogue a fan would expect. I eagerly await the next installments. |

Better than I expected. I've tried writing a fic about Spike's past, and I know it's harder than it seems. Spike is a little OOC, but other than that, the story is exellent. I can't wait to find out what happens next, because I have a feeling the plot will be interesting. Also, not many aurthors can be this descitive without ruining the overall anime feeling. Good job. |

Not exactly how I pictured it, but still nice. The worst part is that Spike is just slightly OOC, the best is that you're presenting his flashbacks nicely. I applaud you, I don't think that I could do it this well. |
