This was really a great story! Your first lemon? Pretty damn good, I have to say!!!
Of course, with every complimenting reviews comes the downsides, if any. Consider it helpful advice for your next story that I will DEFINATELY read:
-I am a bit confused with Kouga's jewel shards and agree with that one reader who reviewed and questioned how Kagome got them.
-I recall you calling Naraku a "hanyou" in the final battle chapter, when he's actually a pure demon (or at least I suppose he is, I know he WAS a human that was devoured by demons and...oh, you get the idea!), and that's called a "youkai". He's not a half demon...which is what "hanyou" is.
-I see from the last few chapters that you must have wanted to end the story soon, because they weren't as well thought out and written as your other chapters and the plots weren't that great. Naraku died rather quickly, and the battle was fairly short. Two years have passed, and everything in the end just happened so fast!
-Erm...though I'm somewhat confused with the whole "being in heat" thing, and how I thought that it's kinda hard to get pregnant during your period because at this time the eggs are actually being destroyed by your body, and with...whatever!!! ^_^;; Biology was never a favorite subject of mine, so I never really payed all that much attention and just did what I needed to do in order to pass...*sweatdrops* I don't know how it works for dogs, but from what I know I didn't think humans worked the same way with getting pregnant during your period or whatever. WHATEVER!!! Eh, it confuses me...*cries!!* lol...
All in all, like stated before, I really, REALLY enjoyed this story!!! I can see that you put a lot of effort into it, and you should be very proud of yourself. I'm actually a "newbie" to Inu-Yasha, as some would say, and have seen very little episodes and try to keep up with reading the Graphic Novels (Manga) that come out, but unfortuantely they don't translate the manga to english and make them hit the bookstores fast enough to keep up with the episodes. Oh well...
Like another reviewer stated, try getting a beta reader and using spellcheck, but besides that, I think you're doing great!!! Keep up the good work and I hope to see more stories posted by you soon!!!

I like the story but Inuyasha seems to act close to Vegeta calling Kagome a b**ch. The other thing fits but I don't think he would call her that unless you have the anime thats uncut and un editted. Very good fic! I like your writing style, though it took a moment for me to adjust to your interesting viewpoints. The creativity was wonderful, as this is one of the first fics that I've seen on this subject, and certainly the most well written. The spelling could use a beta, though, as somethings just can't be caught by spell-check. I really think you've done an awesome job thus far. I was skeptical at first, but after reading your third chapter, I was filled with warm fuzzies. ^^ It's always a great feeling to read about Kagome and Inu Yasha being civil to eachother. I don't care of the idea of a character being "in heat" has been done before, because there are lot of other fandoms that use that as a jumpstart, tidbit, or extra in there fics. (Inuyasha, DragonballZ, and who knows how many others...) But I don't care about what's been done before.
Fact, most of my fics have cliches in them. But still, I have these crazy (and loved:) reviewers telling me that it's really good and original. *shrugs* We are so easy to please. ;)
Oh, and nicely done on the lemon. It was your first? I just wrote my first one... a week or so ago. *heh* Isn't it a rush getting it done and over with?? *lol*
