Reviewed By: Katzchen On: April 23, 2003 22:00 CDT Comment/Review: Oh man, I absolutly *adore* this fic!!! Yohji's personality is so perfect, and his reactions after he got back fit so well with what we have come to expect from him. I thought the ear ring thing was a bit odd - how exactly did the bad guys get it off of Ran? But it made the story just incrediable. Last chapter was heart rending - I look forward to more of this story! |

I'm glad -- you're one of the few people who actually put IC and plot before "bed time." Your writing is amazing and I'm SO happy to see a well-written Youji First P.O.V. ^_^ I can't wait for more. |

Enjoyable read and there is something about Youji suffering...you captured it well, I look forward to the next chapter. As for the lemon, you are right it just doesn't happen that way but its nice if it does, heh. Great cliffhanger btw. |
Reviewed By: Mara-chan [MediaMiner Member] On: April 05, 2003 20:54 CST Comment/Review: hum, i approve, there aren't many writers who are willing to stave off on the lemons and achieve a more accurate IC fanfic. go you. what most writers can't achieve is keeping conflict and chemistry and an interesting plot without them just 'boinking like bunnies' (mua ha ha i'm stealing that phrase) and you've been able to do that. you deserve a yohji plushie *gives plushie* wahoo. i'll definitely be keeping an eye out for updates on this fic.

Reviewed By: MookieNH [MediaMiner Member] On: April 05, 2003 18:35 CST Comment/Review: Another great chapter.
It's nice to see Yohji have a chance to see another side of Aya. I LOVED the part where he fell asleep on Aya, and Aya actually laughed.
Now he knows that Aya has a special someone, although not how she fits into Aya's life, and he knows how difficult Aya's job of providing the distraction is.
He has a lot to think about, doesn't he?
Nice cliffhanger ending. Poor Yohji. He is gonna be a hurtin' unit after this second assault on his person.
Once again I love the way Aya and Yohji are portrayed in your fic, and the way you try to develop the story in a realistic manner, with two people slowly coming to see more of each other than they expected. |
Reviewed By: MookieNH [MediaMiner Member] On: April 05, 2003 18:18 CST Comment/Review: I absolutely love the slow progression of their relationship, whatever it turns out to be. Yohji's stubbornness and Aya's persistence played well off each other.
I think you've done a decent job of keeping them in character so far. You know Aya felt at the end of his rope to offer to listen. |

His decline and his depression seem on the surface to go unnoticed by his teammates, but obviously at least two of them know he's given up women.
I really like the portrayal of Aya as well. It always seemed obvious to me that despite his cold exterior, he really does care for people. Not just his sister, either. Look how he was with Botan, and Omi when he found out who he really was. He has his own way of handling things, but he does care.
Anyway, I know there are two more chapters waiting, so more to review later! |
Reviewed By: katzchen [MediaMiner Member] On: April 05, 2003 16:50 CST Comment/Review: ooooh my... please continue! aarg, cliffhangers! oh, but it makes the next chapter update all the more sweet. as long as you don't take fifty years to update. i love Yohji in this one, it's so him... hehehe. |
Reviewed By: babaca [MediaMiner Member] On: April 05, 2003 12:54 CST Comment/Review: I know I said it in the past (on ff.net)... but I do love the nervous quirks you saddled Aya and Yoji with. I love the eye-rubbing (it brings to mind a little kid fighting sleep) and the shirt twisting also seems like a childhood quirk that never left Aya. |
Reviewed By: Mara-chan [MediaMiner Member] On: April 01, 2003 23:28 CST Comment/Review: oooh, this is very good. you've done an awesome job with both yohji and aya, and this is an interesting way of developing their relationship. i'll be looking forward to the next chapter.
