I'm in complete awe. I couldn't stop reading, hanging off every word the whole story. It was especially awesome how Duo was the main sort of focus but most of the story was from Wufei's pov. And then the side-fic with Duo's pov... I wouldn't mind reading the same story from Duo's pov. And all the 10's aren't just because I really loved this story but because they are deserved!

If you want to know what was bothering me so much as I was reading, was the fact that you constantly made it seem as if Duo was the only capable pilot, and that the rest of the former pilots were useless soldiers. Here, to make more sense: "Luckily Duo had taught Heero that much of his skills, even if there had never been time for anything else..."

Heaping Loads of Stinking Bull Honkey. That's like saying girls don't sweat like guys.
While it's true that each and every pilot does excel in certain areas (i.e. Wufei in martial arts, Heero in, well, many areas, and Duo in stealth and bomb making abilities), they all at LEAST know, for Christ's sakes, how to pick locks. Otherwise, I DOUBT that they would have gotten as far as they had in the series. If you remember, the boys weren't together as often as most people think - more often than not, they were either alone or paired off in missions. And even if it is AU, that's no excuse to demean the pilots with a huge lack of basic skill. Shame on you!
Another big thing I want to point out is the going about of Preventer's missions, which was unorganized and lacking in detail. You pretty much only get: "night club," "five stories" and "flashing lights on upper floors". What? Exactly. Also, Une would NEVER go on missions - she's the HEAD or the Preventer's agency. Why the hell would she? She's there to give missions and take care of everything, not get her hands dirty. That's like sending the company President to work the job of a mailboy. Just doesn't work. Sally might not either, but Noin and Zechs would. Quatre probably wouldn't work for Preventers, what with his FAMILY BUSINESS and all to attend to, but he would lend a hand for this mission.
As for Fiona... I can understand her growing attached to Wufei quickly and getting "under [his] skin", but the way you went about it was... bad. I don't know how else to put it.
In any case, this idea does seem to have potential to be a great fic, but you should really rewirite it so that it both makes sense and is enjoyable. Of course, you don't have to. It's your fic. Good luck if you decide to fix it up. | Reviewed By: fanny On: August 11, 2003 09:35 CDT

Ok.. enjoyment deserves a 400. I love how you write Dorothy. She's so cool here. And can i just say something about that speech Wufei says? Atticus Finch could not have been more eloquent! Oh, the speech was so great. The way you compared peace with harmony, as they're two different concepts, and the fact that peace leads to an opression of the human nature. Well, this looks like a fun, ride. Looking forward to reading more about Duo and Heero's unusual situation. Poor Duo, suffering and enjoying at the same time.
This has got a very good plot and a very good flow...there is no choppiness to the transition between characters and is well thought out. This story is great. I love the duo and wufei interaction.Hope to see 1x2x5!! Seriously, though, this has instantly become one of my favorite fics. It combines my fave couple's from GW with spooky, supernatural elements (which I have been in love with since I was a wee little one). Can't wait till the next update. ^_^ This story is awsome! I want more, this has the promise to be a great story and I want to know what happens next. I cannot wait until you update next time, I promise I will follow this story until this is finished. yes, yes, i'm reviewing again. Dorothy is so cool! She's really smart, and she's the only one that knows the full story! I guess she'll have to explain it to everyone. and there back at the cult house.. Duo and Wufei are gonna get really pissed.. but then again, the people will get there just desserts! hurry with the next chpter!
