Great an update. Have been waiting anxiously for this. Nice chap. Though I have to agree with InusDemoness, it barely quenches the thirst for your fic. I also understand that things come up, so I'm not really complaining. Can't wait for the next update.

Hey, it's called a Punnit square and if you can't find that look up Gregor Mendel and his pea plant research. He is the one who is credited with the idea. And yes some traits can be double dominant. There can always be more than one gene controlling the trait, such as eye color. The punnit squares are for simple genotype/phenotype calculations. They work great in theory, but you have to account for any DNA that is read wrong or has mutated, since everyone on Earth has mutations, but most of them don't show up in phyisical characteristics. Plus dominant traits aren't always the most common ones. The dominant trait is for six fingers on one hand, but most people have five. If you want websites that I think would be useful to you, email me and I'll send them to you. I don't think I could nor would it be wise to post the links on the web. But please keep updating. Well, I've been reading this story for quite a while (one chapter at a time) and just realized that I hadn't reviewed it before. This is a well plotted, brisk moving story with all the things that make a good story. Humor, angst, humor, tenderness (InuYasha style) and humor. I have enjoyed your Rimi very much. She was just how I thought a midwife should be. Keep your muse close and I hope to read your next update soon.

Regarding the genetics thing, it's a Punnett Square. The problem is, it only works for simple traits, and may not apply in every case (things such as eye color, for example, are determined by several factors, as I recall). The idea behind it, though, is you map out all possible occurances, and can determine a probability of a certain outcome from that. Here's a little example: |B |b | -+--+--+ B|BB|Bb| -+--+--+ b|Bb|bb| -+--+--+ So, though you can't answer the original question with this, it does at least lead for some interesting interpretations. I just wouldn't analyze it, though: hurts less. Anyway, nice job with the story... it's been good to read so far, you've added some nice twists, and I've had fun reading it. No real complaints about typos or anything of that sort (which makes the reading a thousand times better). Keep it up.

Still loving your fic from start to end---am SO hoping you'll be updating soon---you left off at a, shall we say, fascinating part???? I just love your portrayal of Inu/Kag and their relationship. Can't wait to read your next chapter--and I DO understand life has a way of getting into things, but just wanted to let you know that we're out here *looks around at all your fans* and still interested in this wonderful fic.......so....update when you can ^_^
