This is absolutely brilliant! First person is so difficult to do and yet you did an excellent job of not only writing it without being boring and repetitive, but in being coherent and making his thoughts completely believable. I enjoyed this very much. Now I'm off to see if you have any other works. By the way, just to give credit where credit is due, I found a recommendation for this at http://community.livejournal.com/crack_van/tag/inu+yasha, which I found through fanthropology on livejournal.
