I love the idea of Shu-chan being a painter/artist. I can easily see him breathing life into his pictures.
You've written this extremely well, the story flows easily from scene to scene and your characterisations are believable and very real. You have a talent for drawing readers into your story.
You seem to have been able to balance humor with the more serious aspects of your fic with a deft hand and mind, making the reader both sympathise with Shu-chan and tense with anticipation from your storyline.
Leaving just enough to the readers imagination, ie, from the first scene when the boy under the bed is caught, to the scene with Yuki rescuing Shu-chan, you have managed to draw the readers in enough to captivate and tantalise without having all or any gory details explicitly written. Not many people can do that, and do it well. Sometimes understatement is better than graphic visualisation.
Don't worry about my rating. I'm very harsh with them. But suffice it to say, yours is the highest I've given up to date. I don't think I've ever given anyone a ten before.
Please continue this soon. I would love to see the reactions from Shu-chan and Yuki when they go to the Gallery premiere of Shu-chan's paintings.
One of the best AU Gravitation fics I've read in a long time. You've got a wonderful way of writing. Extremely enjoyable.
Well done and good luck!

Her descriptions made it easy to picture the characters within their situations. Even their emotions were perfectly described, leading to an easy feeling for all the characters. I would say I can't wait for additional installments because I am hooked on this story. If you can become glued to a story from the first sentence, you know you have something there! And this story has done that for me! Keep it up! I can't wait to read more! Excellent job! |
