Your prose at the beginning is a little over-the-top. In that respect you remind me a little of Sailor Panda, who tends to write in purple prose a little. Don't be afraid of using really common words: short simple concepts often work far better than long, dragging descriptions, and get to the heart much quicker. But overall, I absolutely adored this fiction. I've read this in its entirety a few times before but I didn't have an account, and I wasn't sure if you accepted anonymous reviews. Your characterization is warped, but still plausible. This I really like, the way Tohru is childish but wise beyond her time, lacking the saccharine sweetness that sometimes wanted to make me strangle her. Haru and Yuki are great, as is Kyou. I'm drawn in with the mystery of Kagura and Kisa. I love the setting, and the plot is not too mysterious, and still leaves me hanging. I would love it if you updated: it's been almost five years! I'm going insane! Please update! I'm willing to beg, if you like.

Great story. Since you replace drawn out qualities with new quirks, it doesn't seem to matter that they are out of character. For example:
Anime: Tohru is quick to apologise (not as profusely as Ritsu, though), and takes the weight of the world on her shoulders, while at the same time, making people love her.
Yours: Tohru is polite, in a quiet sort of way. Her mystery and rare child-like quialities draw people in.

Normally I don't do the all ten things but I thought u deserved them very much! I hope when Tohru finds her two friends their okay it almost makes me want to cry and what a loyal good friend she is and what she actually does to try and save them. Anyways I can see she is making tons and tons of aquantiances already...O yea I wanted to know if by chance u had this posted at soupfiction.net also or maybe fanfiction.net? Your fic was very enjoyable. I enjoyed every minute of it. Although it took me a while, me being a slow reader and all. Ignore the name that I give if you would like. Your writing is really captivating. This story is awsome and I dont even mind that they are OOC. I even like Tohru better this way. She can finally do something on her own. Good job on the whole story so far I hope it gets updated soon!
