This is an interesting fic. It partrays our characters in a way we havn't seen before. It' not neccesserilt right or wrong because it takes place far enough in the future for them to have changed. Still, it would be nice to have at least some reflection on their earlier days as rival duelists. I would like it if you gave these characters some kind of comfort in the end. Not neccessarily a "happy" ending, but something where the pain of the past is soe how concluded, and one way or another they can move on with their lives. Overall it's a good fic but it would be ice to get some of the specifics on what happened to make these characters the way they are today.
