Gets off to a slow start. I know the party bit is just a setup, but it's hard to slog through.
Does any of this come from somewhere else? Is this a crossover with something? If not, your terms could use elaboration.
True that most A.U.'s get dull, but I've read a few good ones. IMHO a "good" A.U. is one that keeps the characters in-character, and despite being set with different circumstances, still gives us insight on the original.
In either case, you've got my attention.
So... They're aliens, but they use the same language ("S.T.A.P.") and the same makeup? Maybe it would have fit more if Kagome had thought that the stuff they put on her face reminded her of mascara. Hey! If they can construct faster-than-light ships, then maybe they can construct makeup that doesn't smear!
So they dress "pilots and engineers" up like concubines? Okay, I could buy that they've got some wierd customs, but I'd love to know why they do that. Are pilots always male? Are their lives so regimented that this may be their only chance to, ah, interact with someone for any length of time?
Kag's memory is on file? Hee! Is Inuyasha going to get jealous of Hojo, Tyoshi or both? At least he'll see the kind of clothes she's used to wearing. |
