Please continue, I am really enjoying this fic, with it not just being a typical Inuyasha waiting to see Kagome in 500 years scenario I like that you have thrown in something that I haven't seen yet with a twist. The first chapter was pretty good, although the
discription of the final battle with Naraku could have used a bit more dramatization. I feel that
you ought to expand the plot to include some kind of
quest, or task, that Inu Yasha and the others must
undertake in order to be able to cross the span of
years and be able to join Kagome in her time. Simply having Midoriko causually tell them that Amaterasu has already slowed down there aging, detracts from the fantasy setting that Inuyasha has.
You could switch between Kagome, and how she picks up her life (as well as what effects the adventures she now longer remembers had on her life), and the adventures Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippou go through, in trying to find a way to
survive to Kagome's time. Amaterasu could still extend their lives, but normally Gods aren't overly generous, and make supplicants work for any boon they request.
I look forward to seeing what comes next.
