Who wants to join me on my crusade to kill Hilde? This is a great story, but I agree with most of the people who've already posted - Duo is SO outta line, and T+Q should mind their own beeswax. When the team meet up again, why not get Heero acting all weird (or at least, mroe than usual!), like really cold and never talks, no mission in life etc. Oh yeah, and more angst! Very-very good story the plot is a real tear jerker but those are nice to read sometimes. Can not wait for next chapter to find out how Duo reacts to a missing Heero. And hopefully you will write some about what Heero dose during the 4 years he is away from the others(put some real angst in). Ya know, this is where I have a different opinion from most people, I think.
I don't mean to excuse Duo's actions, because ultimately he is responsible for what he's done, but I can see that there are in fact issues, and the fact that he spat out that he hated Heero...well, ya know, when tempers and emotions run high, sometimes you pull out all the stops and say the most hurtful thing you can think of, just to get back at the person who upset you.
I know that seems kind of ridiculous, considering the fact that Heero was the one who should be hurting the most, but there it is. I think it's not that farfetched, and that it doesn't necessarily mean that Duo has no feelings for Heero at all.
As for Quat and Trowa, well, again, I think that the whole "cheating" thing is something that it's never a good idea to get involved in as an outside participant. I know Heero doesn't agree...but if it were me, I'd hate having a friend tell me that. It would make me hate them for bringing it to my attention, even though I know they meant to do me a favor.
So I think they were in an awkward situation. If they thought it would end, then perhaps they figured it would only cause more heartache to tell Heero about it.
I know, I'm excusing everyone, but honestly, I think there is nothing here that says that they don't all care for Heero in some way. Duo needs to get his head out of his ass and see Hilde for what she really is, and decide why he was with Heero in the first place.
But I don't blame Heero for doing what he did, either.

Fuck You Duo! I am really disappointed in him and how he chose to play out his situation with that Hilde slut! "Heero, I didn't want you to find out like this...I didn't want to hurt you like this, you could never love me the way that she can." My ass, my fucking ass. And Duo punched Heero. I'd rip his balls out! He doesn't need to take that shit from a supposed lover and friends. I love Duo to death but he's way out of line here. Heero can do better. I don't think Heero should forgive Duo so easily in the near future because he gave no real valid explanation. I hate you and I only stayed with you because I felt sorry for you." It make me think that he never did to begin with or didn't appreciate Heero's love, since he can throw those words around like that even in a heated argument, have more respect! Trowa and Quatre and can go to hell, they shouldn't have even gotten involved, it was between those three and no one else. Duo should have been man enough to tell Heero, "Look, lately I've been having feelings for Hilde and I want to see what's up with that so, I think we should take a break from this relationship to help me figure things out." As much as I would hate that it needs to be done instead of Duo rubbing hilde in Heero's face or going around behind his back like that, it makes Duo really pathetic otherwise. |
