I was so upset when I read the beginning, I was just stunned. But I really thought it was very good...very very good. It hooks you with the shock value of what you picture and how it doesn't fit...by the sheer 'wrongness' of the whole story. But then it's a shock in the end...that the beginning is simply the illusion that we choose to see. And it's potrait of the 'aftermath' is really very strong because you can actually see where the character is soming from. *sorry I was speaking vaguely I couldn't really say it straight out because I didn't want to ruin this great story for everyone else!* This is definately one to read!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
