Akane was soooooooo OOC, but Ranma strangely was not. He's being mistreated way to much, and is only natural that he just lost control. Also his guilt sounds natural, though it's surprising that he didn't comit sepukku, or that somebody else would try to avenge Akane. But Akane's behavior, on the other hand, sounds completely unbelieveable to me. She was so submissive, so... pathetic, it made me sick (no ofense intended, I'm just making a point). It migth be possible that, even with her mood and the damage inflicted to her, she would forgive him and accept him back because, at least in part, it was *her* fault. I'm not machist or anything like that, I'm just saying that after her constant abuse, it's natural that he ended up losing his mind. Besides she loves him, and she would continue loving him no matter what, as a couple hundred fanfics clearly state. But the fact that she didn't even *try* to figth back and that she would ask for *his* forgiveness doesn't make ANY sense, no matter how you look at it. Besides that, it was a very good fanfic, Ranma's guilt sounded very real. By the way, when your characters are going to be OOC, please say so.
