This story is nothing short of terrific! It is poignant AND beautiful. You have a wonderful grasp of your characters and their emotions. I've enjoyed reading this as well as 'A Time To Heal'.

I LOVE this fic I swear I've been adicted to the computer since i found it. The character development is great but i must admit, i as getting a vision of you two (especially Wildfyre) being slightly SICK angst-lovers (Wildfyre even admits it!) but hey I've been a WF fan for a while. It's been like 6 months don't you quit on us now!!! Where's the rest?? And PLEASE give Dee his sight back! Lyn and Drew are great too and I certainly hope all this works out. I don't doubt you'll go into the trial and such. I must request you make this a story with some kind of ending, or did you decide on a series? In which case PLEASE warn us if its over?!? One last thing, could we have maybe a few more Dreams... Hentai Style!? (snicker)Heh I can't believe you wrote in Duke's point of view! Btw you're dialouge is great. I would like to see Ryo drunk, please you've been baiting us on how that would be. Anyway please update soon!! ~Niara

Hey, it was great to see a new chapter posted for this fic. I was beginning to worry that you all had given up on the story. I've been keeping up with this one ever since the storyline started months ago with "The Big Decision". The development of the characters makes everyone so much more "real". If these guys, Cal is included of course, did exist I wouldn't mind being counted as one of their friends. Keep up the good work and hope you have fun during the holidays.

I just don't get it - this is an amazing fic and yet hardly anyone's reviewed it... Pitiful! I really like Lyn and Drew - you've made them fit so well into the whole Fake family. I hope everyone is on the uphill climb toward recovery; you've done a great job describing Lyn's anorexia and the difficulties he's dealing with as well as those that love him. Please let Dee's eyesight return!!! Yeah, he's handling it all well and good, but it's like Ryo said - sometimes he just wants to really see Dee looking at him. Loved the bedroom silliness too. I know I jump around... Keep up the great work kids!

Oh my god the hell is over! I mean reading the story. I mean... I am a crack who-whip yes. *shifty eyes* I have been going on reading marathons with this story for days now. Yes all three of them and all I have to say is damn... like the beaver ya know? LOL I probaly have more to say but I forget with each new chapter. Can you say novel material? Why you are letting us read this for free is beyond me, but I'm broke so it works out. Ahh that idea you had I while back... (I mean a while I can't remember what chapter) I don't know if you went through with it or not but I wouldn't mind reading Lyn and Andrew's beginning. If you have inform me please! Save me from the dark... I'm kisssssssiiinnnnnggg yyyyyyyoooooouuuu. LOL you got me breaking into song here, not just one either you, make me feel so alive... Oh I didn't give you any scores 'cause this went above and beyond, get cracking on the next case for me! I be sure to die another day, its not my time to go.

Love the fic, went through all the bits up to this point in about a 24 hour period... What can I say? They're addicting! Only one little comment I caught that seemed really OOC for even these situations. Ryo saying "Totally"? Just seemed a bit out of place. Not a flame or anything! Love the work! Just found it a bit odd. Looking forward to the next chapter!!! -Heather

Only one review!? What's wrong with these people? Your story is well written, with excellent character development. Dee and Ryo interact very well. As another review somewhere mentioned they are a little OOC ( yes, I know you already addressed this somewhere - I agree with you!) but it only serves to flesh them out more, make them more human. And Lyn and Drew are wonderful people who add so much to the story. (Can I add a request for an update to Standing Outside the Fire here or do I need to review it seperately?) I can't wait to see what you have in store for them next but do the poor boys a favor-let them recover a little more, heal injuries, get back on their feet, have sex (wait...they don't HAVE to be back on their feet for that...hmm)OH SORRY, where was I. Oh yeah, maybe straighten out their lives a little before you inflict any more pain. Or just write something, anything before my withdrawal symptoms get any worse! Are your fingers happy now??? Or do I need to post reviews for more of your fics??? |
