My apologies for not reviewing this before, but if I remember correctly, I didn't read this at MM.org or at FF.net before, and I tend not to leave comments elsewhere. A bad habit, to be sure. ^^;; Or I might have just been lazy that night...who knows. In any case, it is in fact, a wonderful little fic. I loved it, as I said--it went in my reread/rec file. The clever usage of the storm and the imagery of that was a definite coolness, as I'm very enamored of thunderstorms in general. It was very well written, although I dislike reading lemons in first person; still, it was good enough that I mostly didn't mind that. I like Ran's logical, methodical analysis of the situation and his reaction to it, I think it's very characteristic of him. You did a fantastic job of 'getting into his head'. I liked the rationalization of why he's suddenly doing this, that the storm is making him reckless (actually I think he tends to be rather that way sometimes regardless) and amusing that one of the other reasons is that he couldn't see Youji's eyes. The line that was really awesome though, is about Youji being the first thing in his life worth dying for. That was just cool, a really nifty way of looking at it...usually it's the other way around, no da. (I have got to stop saying that...it's Kae's fault...XD) Mmm...I think that was it...I got kind of rambly here, sorry; it's late, no da. Anyway, love this fic, thanks for tbe great read! ^^
