This is so beautiful, so entirely different from other fics of a similar genre. I love the part where Kenshin hummed his song, and the implication that he was 'at peace'. Very touching! Had even a bit of tears ne, heh. =)

Wow, I can't seem to wipe this stupid grin off my face. The story was subtle and yet sweet and was a rush in its own unique way. I solute you for your genius. Your grammar was just about perfect but I just can't bring myself to give anyone a full ten when there are so many different ways to express things (I hope you don't take insult in this). The ending was definately a twist. The fact that Kaoru didn't just jump into his arms and say yes right away made me really admire you for your creativity. It may be something simple but really, after so many fics that ends up with her jumping around for joy saying "yes!!!" all at once, it becomes a little too predictable. Very good fic. Keep writing.
