Title: Attacks:Kenshin Reviewed By: MashiroInu [MediaMiner Member] On: December 22, 2003 12:59 CST Comment/Review: Kenshin says Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu then states the name of the attack. I have made a list of his attacks for your viewing pleasure: Ku-Zu-Ryu-Sen (nine headed dragon flash) This technique was created when trying to achieve the final goal of the succession technique. In any kind of kenjutsu, there are nine main points of attack/defense. Some of these include the head, the two shoulders, the chest, between the legs etc. etc. The technique of Kuzu Ryu Sen is used to attack ALL of these points. Only a handful (Soujirou and Enishi spring to mind) are able to block or dodge them as the nine blows are delivered at the same time. Not only is Shinshoku essential, but the power behind each of the nine blows could also be a cause for defeat Ryu-Shou-Sen (rising dragon flash) The user places his sword in a horizontal fashion over his head, and attacks upwards (usually towards the enemy's neck). This, coupled with the usually downward charge of the enemy creates a large impact, greater then a normal sword stroke. First seen when Kenshin defeats Senkaku, and later seen again during the fight against Shishio. Ryu-Tsui-Sen (dragon mallet flash) Many fighters have weaknesses from the air. The swordsman takes advantage of this by attacking from above, first by leaping up to gain height, and then using the force of their weight and gravity to land a heavy blow usually either on the head or shoulders. Few can withstand such a technique. Ryu-Tsui-Sen-Zan (Zan=to cut) A variation of the Ryu Tsui Sen, where the sword is held pointing directly downwards, meant to severe directly through an opponent's head. Do-Ryu-Sen (ground dragon flash) This move involves the ground, where Kenshin's sword is the stimulus in creating a force that will uproot the ground and attack the enemy. The two variations seem is where it acts like the Futae no Kiwami projected across the floor or where hitting the ground sends rocks flying towards the enemy. Do Ryu Sen is most useful for out of range enemies, or those who tend to use distance attacks. First seen in the fight between Kenshin and Raijuta. Sou-Ryu-Sen (paired dragon flash) A Nidan Battou Jutsu technique, this maximises the use of Kenshin's sakabatou. Because of the reversed blade, his speed with any Battou Jutsu is slower then it would be were he using a real katana. The katana flashes out at an incredible speed (like any normal Battou Jutsu), but should this be evaded or blocked, Kenshin then uses his sheathe to land another blow. This is first seen in Kenshin's fight against Udo Jine. Ryu-Kan-Sen (dragon wind upwards flash) Used when the swordsmaster is quite close to a person. This technique (better used as a counter-attack rather then an offensive move) is used to deliver a backhanded blow as the swordsmaster spins around. Seen against Katanagari no Cho. Ryu-Kan-Sen-Arashi (Arashi=storm) The swordsman curls himself into a ball, and spinning completely with sword extended. (Seen against Shishio Makoto) Ryu-Kan-Sen-Kogarashi (Kogarashi=tree blast) This is a more powerful, and a more advanced version of the original Ryu Kan Sen technique. Again first seen against Shishio Makoto. Sou-Ryu-Sen-Tsumuji Another enhanced variation of Ryu Kan Sen. This starts with an extremely fast lunge at the enemy, avoiding his/her sword (most likely at a horizontal alignment because of the speed), and hitting the opponent around the midsection. Shinshoku (God-speed) is essential for this technique, but because of the position and speed, landing is difficult. Ryu-Sou-Sen (double dragon flash) Randomly attacking different vital parts of the enemy at extremely high speed, not allowing the enemy time to recover from any single hit, or block. Used for those who have a lot of stamina and cannot be defeated from a single blow. Kenshin first used this against Sagara Sanosuke, during their second fight. Ryu-Sou-Sen-Garami As the name suggests, this is a variation of Ryu Sou Sen, where the blows are directed at the neck and/or head.

I write some fanfictions in my spare time but I can never finish them...*sob* I promised myself that I will finish a story before I post it on any website, so that when life rears its ugly head I won't leave any sad readers behind. But that strategy won't work if I can never finish anything ne? Anyways, time to explain my ratings! I liked your style of writing but sometimes it gets hard to follow... A 9! Your spelling wasn't all that great, especially when it came to attacks... A 8! You spent alot of time on its originality, you have a very creative mind... A 10! As I have already stated my pleasure of reading your piece... A 10! This was one of the best fanfictions I've read... A 10!

I love this fanfic!! So far you are ending it perfectly! I was wondering what you were gonna do with Inuyasha and the jewel. I thought you was gonna make him human. I was so happy when i found out he was gonna stay a hanyou. Not only that but you put Sesshomaru in your story too. This fanfic is easily my favorite!
