Yeah, I suppose it was plotless, pointless, etc. But it was a nice read -- the feel of the story & the writing matches the lazy, relaxed day you've portrayed. I thought the hint of 1+2 was well done, being just a hint after some minor contemplation about how the two affect each other. Overall, a good work.
