Omg you and my English Teacher are the only two people I know to EVER have read "Memoirs of a Geisha"...I cried during most of it =P ...poor Chiyo-chan =( Anyway just to let yah know, the title of the book isnt "Memories" its "Memoirs" A Memoir is an Autobiography which is how the author wanted the story to be portrayed. (B/c it really isnt an autobiography since Chiyo(Sayuri) isnt even real, it was based on the accounts of another Geisha's life(who was the original Sayuri) with many things altered of course, and it's listed as fiction) The author is extremely convincing, 'cause it took me a while to figure all this out @_@

They kinda remind me of Romeo and Juliet, they fell in love so quickly. It's really good, you must continue it. The angst that will follow is going to be interesting, I can tell. Keep it up!

*gasp gasp gasp* i love this story!!! I love angst too! but as long as it has a happy ending! I'm not talking about....fifty years later he shows us all old and gray and she is the runner of the gaishi house(whatever its called)! That would suck, and i dont care if they end up together! Romeo and Juliet ended up together..in death! that is a Fucked up ending! Angst, but happy ending! PLEASE!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! Hello, I think it was a good start. I like the way you write, but it seemed a little rushed towards the end of the chapter. I've always been interested in Geisha and I'm happy to see a story that didn't fall prey to the misconception that geisha's were prostitutes. I'll be sure to check out the book you recommended as well. Good luck with your writing
