I must differ with Dark Hunter. If you take the time to observe real-life dialogue, you will find that most conversations would be fairly irrelevant were they written on paper. The mark of true writing talent is the ability to recreate these irrelevancies and still retain the attention of the reader. I also must commend you on not being redundant in your word choice, that being one of the few things I can't stand. I enjoyed the fic very much and encourage you to continue writing. I look forward to any of your future works. |

This is fairly well written, something you cannot count on for all fanfictions floating around out there. You convey images well and avoid repeating words too closely together (sorry, my current pet peeve for the week). One thing you might want to work on though, is your dialogue. It comes across as being a tiny bit inane, immature. Dialogue usually is the point of contention in most works of writing though, and yours fall quite close to the line of balance. Keep writing. You've got talent. |
