I liked the idea but the whole story was too forced, too rushed. There wasn't a lot of depth to it and all of Rin's actions seemed shallow and pointless. I'd suggest going into more detail into what both of them are thinking and why. I think you could have done a lot more justice to this in a multi-chapter format.
