This fic stands out from the other stories currently being posted in GW fandom. I like your description of the story's setting, the people and that even though Heero has run from his problems, whatever they are, that no one is truly free of them. The plot has yet to be revealed, but I'm hoping to learn more about why Heero ran, of Duo's problems and how things are going to play out in their newly-formed relationship. I'm eagerly looking forward to more.

I found myself smiling hugely during many parts of chapter 7. I really liked chapter 7. Okay, I *loved* chapter 7 and I can't get enough of it and I am twitchy with anticipation for chapter 8!

It was great to see a new chapter! I like how Heero feels his friendship with Trowa and Wufei growing. He's certainly perceptive about Quatre and Trowa! Poor guy's going to give himself an ulcer mulling over Duo though. At least he's finally letting himself act a bit spontaneous. I wonder what they'll encounter at Ootha? I hope he'll help Duo understand he doesn't need to remain in that kind of environment.

Nice! I am glad I have you on my MM favorites list, because I would have hated to miss this chapter! The description of the scenery, the quiet feeling of unrest, the poetic language and imagery ... very nice. I am looking forward to chapter 6.

Ya know, sometimes you just have to get away to gather your thoughts together. You have my curiosity piqued - WTF is Heero running from? I think you've done a wonderful job of showing Duo's ability to hide his true self behind the boisterous, happy-go-lucky guy he wants others to see. I like his ability to read Heero so well; his little observation to Heero was perfect. Thanks for updating!

Hey Lethanon, I am really, really enjoying this and not just 'cause I'm from Lithgow. Great characterisation; Duo has a really nice blend of brashness and vulnerability, and a nice piece of dinky-di Oztraliana - it really feels like the bush. ("really nice" seems to be my phrase of choice for this fic). The idiom is perfect. The lamb is hilarious and I hope that he manages to stay off the baa-rby (groan). Does Condo have a swimming hole? I think that it needs one. Great work. Can't wait for the next update.

Well, I'm not following some of the words, but this is an entertaining fic so far regardless. I remember (wayyy back then) in high school having a couple of teachers that everyone wanted to hang around with after school. We'd even end up at their houses on the weekends, just like in your fic. When I attended my class reunion, a bunch of us still went visiting them! Of course, I suspect your fic is going to take a different turn, ne? Loved Heero's lamb!!! ; )
