I can definetly see this happening. Poor Kagome, to have that on her head. Have you read The Speckled Monster? Not that you'd have time with your update schedule. :P Cowpox is a good way to avoid the disease, but when is the last time anyone had cowpox? You kinda need to be around cows for a primary infection (ie milking them by hand). I don't even know that it can go from human to human without help. Are you still looking for a beta? Could I volunteer if so? Just so I can see your chapters even faster? :D

that'd be a great Kagome! Where Are You!? world =D Very interesting - I thought it'd be some sort of nuclear threat that Kagome brought on unwittingly... Either that or it was an AU - and I haven't seen an AU from you yet so...*shrugs* make more of these one-shot-type tingies plz - they're cool...

Ah, I see you've picked up on one of the more uncomfortable possibilities of time travel. I was wondering if this was the tye-in to your future "Kagome, Goddess of Japan" story, but I see that in the author notes this is not so. That would make for an interesting "Kagome, Where Are You" world, not that I think she needs anymore nightmares. ^_^

Interesting. Though over hyped. Smallpox is easily countered by cowpox making the scenario you made an impossibility. Also in case of epdidemics breaking out, all military forces would be too busy keeping order to launch offensives. Even the medias would be subject to government control.
