Aww I'm always happy to see when this is updated ;) I didn't know what to make of the chapter's end. Kaoru seems to be in a tough situation and I can't say that I blame her for not wanting to give up all that she's worked for. Giving up one's feeling of trust and security can be hard (esp. if she's had those violated in the past). At the same time I am, of course, hoping she'll accept. They both seem like such lonely souls to me. The whole employer/employee relationship is so horribly tricky though. I can definitely forsee complications for good or bad, be as it may. At any rate, I enjoyed the chapter (and Sara's interest in Kaoru is SO adorable and crafty) and am glad that you had a chance to update! Thanks much for your time spent. I look forward to reading more as always ;)

I had the stupidest grin on my face at the end of that...nice kenshin way to keep your cool around the ladies lol :D another great chappy, i went and read the whole story over again (stayed up till 3am on a school night...it was worth it) Hope you get around to updating soon but i know how stressfull life can get so i won't push. Thanks for this update though it was amazing :D

I do have to admit I was a bit apprehensive as the summary for the story immediately reminds me of the TV show "The Nanny"; however, I am very pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong. Oh, and don't worry too much about my ratings. I tend to be the harshest critic, but I always state things bluntly the way I see them. Besides, the most important factor in a story is the Enjoyment Factor, and let me tell you, I VERY much am enjoying this story, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to login just to leave a review for you. I LOVE Kenji's personality. You have nice character development and interaction. I especially love how with each chapter we're slowly creeping closer to Kenshin's core kind and sweet personality. I'm looking forward to seeing how their first 'date' goes, even if it's going to be a 4-6 month wait. Thank you for a wonderful story and I look forward to your update in a few months. Laters... P

Yay, I'm so thrilled to see you back. This is not some suck up comment, but for whatever reason I just really adore this story. I was actually just thinking recently that I missed it. I think that this Kenshina and Kaoru have a great thing going and you really have some interesting plot things going down. I totally can commiserate with your depression thing. I tend to get bored too and then have little will to write or do anything for that matter. Just dead feeling, you know? But who knows, maybe that can work to your benefit to strike out some soulful stuff about kenshin's past and about kaoru's sad past as well. I hope that you find your muse because I enjoy the dynamic you have going here. Hopefully with the new year, some new inspiration (away, of course, from school, life etc.) I loved Kenshin's blushing in this chpater. Jesus, where are the 20something hotties like him in my city? As always, I look forward to seeing more;D Happy holidays!

Yay, an update! For some reason I'm really attached to this story. It's all so very sad. Kenshin is so damned stubborn, I wonder what is wrong with him...I feel bad for Kaoru too since she just doesn't seem to know what to do for him, although their weird friends/ employer thing would kind of make that difficult. I will miss you dearly during your break and hope that whatever you're doing is relxing and or enjoyable, unless of course it is school, then don't fry yourself out, lol. great chapter, take care.

Dang! I'm all involved in this story like it's my life! lol, so sad. I absolutely love all the twisted relationships and the threat of Kaoru's ex- turning up to do some serious damage has me on edge. I love how Kenji and Kaoru have become close, it's so sweet and probably just what he needed. That last chappie though was a doozy! Poor Kenshin is so mixed up, so young, and so very sad ;( That last line was a killer and I am greedily awaiting your next update. I absolutely love your character development so far and the plot is so twisted and deep. Great writing and great dialogue. I desperately hope you are able to update soon as I am eager to know just what the heck is going on. Thanks!
