Not a bad introspective piece. I wish there had been a little more "Asuka-ness" to it, a hint more of pride. I also think that the ending needed a little more something, a little oomph. But this is bettter than anything else I have read today. So I just wanted to let you know.

Well i must say that it looks like you have a very good ability to see what drives a character. Seeing in to the depths of emotions and thought is very hard to do but I think you did a nice job of it in the story. If you can write this I'm sure that you can do more so I won't even ask because its probably on the way. I know that's kinda presumptuous of me but lets just say that after reading this it would be a shame if you didn't write more. I like the way ya work and encouragement is all that I have to give ya.
