You're right--there are way too many yaoi ones, and I absolutely love you for writing a good one that isn't. The idea of Kyo of all people keeping a secret for that long is staggering. Poor guy. But I love how you brought him and Yuki together and finally had everyone accept him. I've probably read this one at least three times through. I also really like Neko's Healing, especially the first few chapters. Keep writing, and thank you!!

| Reviewed By: Lisha Lane On: January 14, 2006 22:21 CST Comment/Review: A long time ago, I found this story, read the first thirteen chapters, loved them and printed them off. Then I went to bed, and temporarily forgot about this story until I saw it on my dresser a week after I printed it out. At the time, all that you had written and posted was the first thirteen chapters, but when I went back to see if you had updated, I couldn't remember you're username or the title's story. I tried a lot of names in the search engine including stuff like friends, brothers and so forth. The only thing I knew was the chapter pages since I didn't print off anything else. Finally, two weeks ago, I read Neko's Healing on fanfiction.com and clicked on your name to see if you had written anything else. I started screaming and told my brother about it (who really didn't care). Then I printed off the last three chapters in case I lost it again. This is one of the best stories I've ever read. Thank you (in case you don't believe me, likely, I hope the fact that I searched for it for that long, and remembered it for even longer convinces you.) signing off now -Lisha Lane

This story has been one of my favorites for a while! Shame on me to just now getting around to reviewing it:). The reason I'm reviewing it now is that I just linked this story in the lj community fanficrants as an example of a very well-written Yuki/Kyo relationship. This is probably the best one I've seen, and you've successfully shown that a relationship between the two doesn't have to be a slashy one. I loved your ideas and the way you expressed them. The great thing about this story is that it fills in a few holes and is definitely plausible within the framework of canon. And it wasn't even really derailed by the "big spoiler." Bravissima! I really hope to see more FB fic by you soon!

Oh well anyways, i think you've kept everyone in character while still making Kyo and Yuki friends! i was starting to think it wasn't possible =) can't wait to see what happens next!!!!!

Please update as aften as you can. PLEASE!!!!

| Reviewed By: eponine-in-training On: February 19, 2005 00:44 CST Comment/Review: after him. They mention that Kagura has seen it before, and Yuki has this one-liner thought: 'I never knew...' but it's pretty much much all Kyo angst and Tohru. The version 'Revelations' is based off of obviously has Yuki going with Tohru to retrieve Kyo. I have also always wanted there to be a Yuki/Kyo frienship fic..anything I've seen before this they either hate each other or make out all over the place. Ick. I don't mind a well crafted shonen-ai, but really. Writing something just for the sake of seeing two boys having sexual relations with no character development or anything is just ridiculous. Anyway, you are an amazing author, and, as you can see, it took me two review boxes to fit my ramblings, which is actually good, because I only ever ramble on about a story if it's excellent. To quote Kenshin, "Thank you...and Sayonara."

I love the whole Kyo/Yuki Platonic love - thing, and it's actually supported in canon, now that I think about it. The fact that I actually HAVE to think about it, for it to be drawn to my attention, and then it's so obvious, just further supports it. It's something that one would just sort of overlook, all these little details; Kyo being all affected yet doing nothing after Yuki's asthma attack in volume 3, that whole "I hate Yuki, and I LIKE hating him"..."You speak as though you're OBLIGATED to hate him...your eyes tell me that you're afraid to find out"...'It's as though the act of hating is a way of protecting something' - deal, the observations about how scared Kyo was as he firmly insisted that he hated Yuki, as he ran and/or tried to avoid/deter people from inquiring about it... He dwelled on that whole 'Yuki's lying motionless and helpless on the ground and I can't go to him or anything no matter what, I have to remain impassive but I can't help imagining a pool of blood surrounding him and being all terrified and running off before anyone even starts to think I care or anything' thing for a long time too...and Hana's comment on it..'He's in chaos.' ...I mean, wow. I can't believe I never really noticed..but then, that's part of the whole thing you're pushing here, right? People DON'T notice. It's amazing. I was a bit confused about some of the references to the 'true form' thing, but that's probably because in the manga only Tohru goes after him. | Reviewed By: JaguarKitty On: January 19, 2005 19:29 CST Rating(s):Style of Writing: 8 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 8 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 10 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Ai! Please tell me that you're going to write more to this...and soon. *twitches* It's got such a wonderful plotline to it. I've never seen one like this before. In addition to the wonderful Kyou-centricness, you've got the One True Pairing of Furuba with Kyou/Tohru. Screw Yuki. Tohru goes with Kyou and no one else. (Actually, I think in the manga, it's being set up so that Yuki falls for someone named Machi..or something like that.) You MUST update soon. My sanity depends on it.

I really have no idea what to say. I really liked your story. I rated it all tens except for originality/creativity. That I gave you a nine, because the whole 'trying to break the curse' thing isn't exactly new. But I did like your version of past events. My little brother kicked me off of the computer, and for his hour on the computer, I watched FB, and I could actually see a possibility that all of that had happened. Update soon please!

I think that they belong together too more than her with Yuki. The main part of her life was about the cat. What I have read I've liked, except maybe how she's refers to their name when directly speaking to them and herself. Don't take that as a bad thing, I really liked what you've written.. what I've read... so far. I would like to see Tor. and Kyo be together, but that's just my desire.
