i love it! i love the near-end when kogure thinks of fujima as just another potential future goodbye. very nice. you've set a very surreal, dreamy tone of memory and i feel like kogure is downplaying all these people that maybe he loved, but he never wanted to face the depth of his feelings. for instance, the way he just let everyone go quietly, esp. mitsui. i love it!
