Interesting. I can honestly say I didn't see that coming... So, Duo was dead from the beginning. But, I guess, in a way Heero was dead too... Death just gave him a release - like putting the period on the end of a story. Poor Relena; it can't be easy learning you'd danced with a dead man. Being who she is she was trained to hide her emotions and act refined even in the face of grief, so I understand her reaction when hearing about Heero's death, but you can't be prepared to handle what she must have realized when learning about Duo's death. I wonder what freaked her out more: that she'd danced with a dead man or that she'd danced with Death?? Neither, can be very pleasant... Great job. Your writing is very detailed amd enjoyable to read... even cryptic like this piece! lol I think this is one of my favorites from you. ~Duchess~

It's interesting. I can only speculate on Relena's reaction to hearing Duo was dead in contrast to Heero's death. In this fic Duo did indeed play Death and freed Heero's soul in order to join him so that they could both be happy. Relena probably went into shock or horrified at having danced with a dead man. But I can't say that's what you were thinking at the time. Very interesting none-the-less. Nice work.

Wow! Talk about weird. The ending was rather confusing, I mean, how come Relena freaks out when she found out that Duo had been dead for 3 years? Perplexing ending but a good piece of writing. Keep it up!

Wow! I had no idea where this was heading. As usual, your writing is beautifully discriptive. The characters really come alive and you set the mood with fantastic realism. I haven't reviewed any of your other work, although I have read quite a bit, and they all leave me wanting more. This one is no different. Keep up the good work!
