Can't understand why you're not satisfied with this chapter, I really like it. What'll be the explanation for the mpreg? Some experiment of J's or did it just happen? Oh, the angst... ;-). Just a side note, you might consider marking changes of scene for reader-friendliness (is that a word?!), just a line of dots or something like that. Anyways, good chapter.
