I had to put my dog down over the summer, and I think you managed to capture that feeling so perfectly. I also like how you pointed out that if it wasn't for Buyo, there probably wouldn't have been a meeting between Inuyasha and Kagome was perfect and an idea that I never thought of. Great job :) |

That one-shot got me. It is sad to lose a pet. My best friend came to visit me once and she told me her dog had died; and my old babysitter told my mom (who told me) that her dog had died. Too bad I can't have a cat yet. My family are dog people. I wish I could have a cat like Buyo. I liked your one-shot! ^_^

The loss of any pet is tramatic to the people closest to the pet. A pet is a friend, a companion, a stress reliever, and a confidant. I have cats and I have had to make the decision to to put one down before. It is a hard decision to make, the decision to kill a friend for the sake of mercy and to ease their suffering. I like your story, but I honestly think that Inuyasha would have stayed with Kagome to try and comfort her instead of going back through the well. But this is a good one-shot and thanks for sharing it with us.
