i just found where it says in the anime. it's ep 80. near the end. where this ANBU memeber walks to Kakashi and tells him to come ealier so he won't spend time making excuses. the kakashi said, " i di, every morning"

LOL! actally the reason is that Kakashi is paying respect to his comrade and best friend. Uchiha Obito. it showed somewhere in the anime. naruto ep 101 showed Kakashi paying respect to Obito later to be replaced by a scarecrow. that is what his name means after all. then somewhere in the anime it showed Kakashi was there. great story!

Nice. You had me laughing. I particularly liked the excuse about the dog chasing him into the forest and the gang of midgets trying to steal his Icha Icha Paradise. Manicure and pedicure, very metro.
