Title: Belief and Repetition Reviewed By: Kin-chan Pandun [MediaMiner Member] On: December 06, 2006 14:41 CST Comment/Review: If enough people believe in something, it exists through the power of their belief. This is especially true of gods. (Reference Hogfather and Small Gods by Terry Pratchett.) They start off small, like the japanese lesser kami, and then grow through continued and growing belief, recognition, and reinforcement. Duo's called himself the god of death so many times, that, to most people in the war, when they think "God of Death," they immediately picture Duo. This association, combined with Duo's high body count, belief in death, his "never tell a lie" saying all add up to one thing: a plausible way for other gods to dump the workload on to him. >>>>> Thanks for writing, Kin.
