Excellent. Beautiful. Wonderful. So many words to describe this... I was hoping for a better closure though. It was poetic in a weird kind of way, I'm used to endings a bit more... conclusive, I guess. In simple words, I didn't understand it; call me ignorant, I couldn't get it from any angle. On the other side, the EdxAl interactions were amazing, every one of them, beautifully described; the controversy of it clashed perfectly with the heaviness of Ed's emotions and thoughts. Are you planing on doing a sequel? Maybe not, it's been a long time after all... but FMA's still going strong, and every day there are people discovering the series, like me! I became interested in FMA just a few weeks ago and it hooked me completely; and now I'm discovering its fanfics as well. So far I haven't been disappointed, and your story is one of the reasons. This is the first fanfic I have ever read that I've given complete tens. This is also the first peice I've ever read that made me cry. I liked everything and I thought that the characters were very in character, with the exception of Alphonse and he wasn't really supposed to be... Also, the style of writing was nice, and even better it was grammatically correct. Very pleasing to read a fanfic that actually flows. Now that I've gotten out my helpfulness, may I be a fangirl? ED ON AL IS HOT. Thanks. Also... I must know how it ends. If you could just email me or something or tell me if you aren't going to continue it... because I think I'll die if I don't now. I read this story on my birthday by the way and couldn't ask for a better present from mediaminer.org than to actually off up such a great fic. Thank you so much!

Wow. Just that. You've torn my heart out and I'm glad I read this. Part of me wishes you would continue this and part says to leave it lie, sometimes the end is best left to the imagination of the reader. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Kinda makes one want to go slit their wrists and have a crying fit. Gah, definately the most depressing FMA fic I've ever read, and I read the angst, y'know. So you're on my favorite authors list now and such. I will continue reading. Now that Roy's here it is much easier to read without having to take sob breaks though, Roy's witicisms are good relief.
