I think I'm going to let my opinion ride a bit more. I said that inside, Ryo was a 'softie', and I think I'm still right. You just explained alot of what he went through with his father, and I can visualize what he wrote pretty clearly. He has a lot of anger, and lot of 'no one's going to treat me like that again' mentality. It's no wonder he's like he is right now. I knew there had to be something traumatizing enough to have him behave this way. As for 'softie'... I just think that there's some place within that he hid himself, some place that he protects the part of him that loves and wants to be loved... maybe even protect him -- in a manner or speaking. Yeah, people like that will be the biggest bad ass to protect themselves from being hurt by anyone else. And Ryo's on that path of uncaring, 'self-destruction'. Yeah.. I know analaze stories too much, nothing better to do. Well, still... the story still has kept my interest, and look forward to the next time you post.

Ryo the bad boy! Heh! Although I thought that his aunt should have stood her ground a bit more. She did have the ammunition for it. He'd start carrying on like that, and she could have said 'Ok, I guess it's boarding school then.' and walked away from him. Heh heh heh... HE probably would have been the one to cave in. I loved the debate when after she suggested 11 he kept up on the Midnight thing, and she cut it back to 10:30! BUT she caved in for 11:30!! I know, I know...Ryo knew she would if he carried on. Already knew he would paint the entire room dark before I even read it. Yes, Ryo's hurt and it's deep...and he has this big 'I'm bad' attitude, but I think he's really soft inside. I hope you don't make Dee soft! (Oh, well if you do -- I'll go with the flow) I think Dee's 'obnoxiousness'(?) can prevail over Ryo's. Umm...there were a few spelling or word omitted mistakes, you might want to check over. But I do that myself sometimes. Oh... Thanks for your comment at the top.

I've always liked fics where Ryo's all screwed up. And you can pull it off so well! Ryo's such a deep character! Play with his head a bit!!

Ok, just when I was interested in reading, it ended! I don't care if certain facts are off if I'm interested in the story or where it goes. Fanfiction is about what an author imagines up, right? Well, anyway do an update soon. I'd like to see what he's going to be up to (change wise) and his meeting with Dee.
