Well, I think this was actually really good! I mean, I could see Kurama doing that and cursing his human heart for the pain. I dunno, it seemed pretty good to me.

Interesting. You could have made it more sad by having Hiei over hear or feel something was wrong. And have it where Hiei actually felt the same but was too shy, ashamed, or afraid of the result and so never mentioned it. And he finds the bottle and the poison. Or it could go out like a Romeo and Juliet thing at the end. I know I am just a sadistic person but hey it is realistic and besides at least it is a one shot and NOT the ending of a bit epic or a long story. Now that is when you get angry an stuff.
