Oh my gosh girl!! You had me hanging on every word! (I told you I wouldn't skim!) I was afraid that I wouldn't remember what happened since it's been a while since I read it, but it all came back to me once I started getting into this. I think the way you summed this all up is amazing. The "unborn children" and all the other things that weren't real to Shadow, those were great effects. I had a feeling Shadow was going to face his demons and try to leave Rouge out of it. She's so persistant, haha. Somehow I get the feeling that you would've done the same for your man. I'm glad that you just kept it real here. A lot of people (including me at one point) would've wanted a sugar-coated happy ending of sorts. Even though the title somewhat gives away the true ending... The struggles, the deaths (well, only one...and a possible other), the descriptions worked out beautifully. For me, it's hard to point out things you need to improve. Everything worked out for my experience. But maybe one of these days I'll look over this again and let you know what's up. Guess I can't put this in my little lemons folder, beause you're absolutly right. This isn't some cheesy, unforgiving lemon. (not saying all lemons are that way, mainly jus' the ones I write ^^;;;;;;). But anyhoo, it's like they say, three's a charm. I really hope Shadow's gonna be ok tho....... Keep goin! Very nice work Mel. I actually enjoyed reading this one, especially since it involves Shadow and Rogue (Whom in my personal opinion, make a great couple; Knuckles can have Julie-Su! =P ) Anyways, I hope to hear more from your stories, but I can only hope this *cough* sex *cough* suspense will reach it's climax soon.
