One word: wow. I havn't been able to get through the whole story for now because it's getting late, but I'm having a hard time of stop reading it. Never have i thought a Naraku/Kagome fic could turn out so good and make so much sense! I'm a Kouga/Kagome lover myself but this fic has inspired me to give Nar/kag pairings more of a try. You keep EVERYONE in character SO WELL! and another thing i like about this story, you have yet to refer to Kikyo (my fav character other then Kouga) as "the claypot" or "bitch". You do every character justice in this fic and i congradulate you. It's hard to find authors who can do that. Many authors who write about Kagome over exagerate her strength and make it to the point where she'll be like, threatning Sesshomaru's life or something. Kagome is stronger emotionally then physically and people just can't seem to except that. They try to make her like... "Xena, warrior princess" or something. But just because she isn't well at fighting doesn't make her a bad character or anything. Just by reading this story I'd have to say that you're one of my favorite authors now. Well, i have to go to sleep now. Again, great fic!

I think you're doing a wonderful job of keeping them in character. Naraku is going through a progression in his emotions, and you've managed the difficult task of portraying it while still keeping his basic nature true. I have to say, this is the *only* Naraku/Kagome pairing I've ever wanted to read. Good job! Lavender
