Your fic is great so far, and I've read plenty of developing romances where there are best friends who get together, and in the beginning the object of desire is sometimes not very friendly or is very oblivious to his friend's emotions. However, I liked it and please update soon.

I am well aware that there is a 1+R and an unrequited 2+1 at the moment, but bear with me (if you want to that is), that there will be the "developing 1x2" I was talking about. There will be more chapters to come - in which I am planning to write more 1+2 than 1+R. As for when you say Heero seems pretty heartless, well, perhaps...maybe....but...well, I don't want to say much and give away the fic. Let's just say he will be back in chapter two. Perhaps, I may have made him seem 'heartless' and clueless to Duo's feelings in the end of chapter one but I won't portray him like that in this fic - at least...I'm striving not to, hoping not to anyhow. Ack... Hope I didn't tick you off or anything from my ramble - though maybe you did after the first chapter... /twinges/ ... /shrug/ But, well, I hope that cleared things up for you, anon_anna, and for others who might feel the same way. i just read the first chapter of this fic and i didn't see any developing 1x2. i saw 1+r and unrequited 2+1. also if heero was really duo's friend wouldn't he have noticed that he left him? and if he cared why is he so worried about relena but not duo waiting outside for him? that seems pretty heartless to me. some friend he turns out to be.
