Okay, I ran out of "characters" in my last review (I only had 2 left, lol), so I'm continuing it here. ^^ Sorry, I'm not usually this long-winded, but it's your fault for making such a awesome fic, so deal! ^___~ Now, where was I? Oh, yeah, Kakashi... Okay, so I think that Kakashi really -does- care about Iruka, but isn't sure how to tell him and has been hurt so many times that he's afraid that Iruka either wont love him back, or that Iruka -will- love him back but something bad will happen and he'll loose him. Thus the "detachment". I have a feeling that Kakashi's gonna' have to step in now that Iruka's getting worse, though. Maybe he'll even be the one to save him, ne? ^___~ *yawn* Okay, well, that's enough from me. It's late, and have to get up early tomorrow, soooooooo....... I'll just add that I think this is a great idea, and the characterization is really well done -- it comes off as quite realistic -- so congrats!!! ^___^ Keep up the good work, and update ASAP!!! *blink* ...OoOoOoOoooo...a psychological fic........neato! ^___~ I really can't explain it if this wasn't what you were going for at all, but my first thought (after the initial "oh, kewl, a Kakashi/Iruka fic! yum...", that is) was "oh, kewl, a psychological thriller! yum..." (lol) ^___~ Okay, so here's what I think Iruka's illness is... if I'm completely off base, you can have a good laugh; if I'm kinda' there, you have new food for thought; if I got it on the nose, you can tell me and I'll celebrate by eating a box of chocolates! ^___~ So here goes: I think that Iruka is having questions about his...well, "self-worth", for lack of a better word. He remembers this old grudge/hatred/whatever that he used to have towards Naruto, and although he has honestly forgiven Naru-kun and truely cares for him, he is also plauged by a feeling of guilt -- one that he can't explain away. And because of that, along with his "unrequited love" for Kakashi and his feelings of self-loathing about his current lifestyle (which probably have something to do with the fact that he feels bad about not being able to tell Kakashi how he -really- feels), he is slowly going (dun, dun, dun) ...insane! ^^ Yup, that's what I got from it. And like that old addage "I think, therefore I am", b/c Iruka is sick in his mind, he is slowly showing physical signs of it as well. Now as for Kakashi... *is running out of characters* Hmmm... *points up* I'll review again and finish it there, k? Good...

Whoa . . . that creepy! What's Iruka keep seeing? And that voice when he was with Naruto . . . creepy shit!! This is really good though. I feel so sad for Iruka! *Snuggles* Kakashi is really cold in this fic. *Glares Daggers at the Jounin* Mean Head! ^.^hee hee^.^ You should definitely continue this. Can't wait for more! ~Wanders off to cover the mirror with scary reflections~
