Erm, I know this is going to seem extremely anal but. . . I just wanted to apologize for the clutter of the review I posted, the paragraph breaks I had put in apparently don't want to show.

I gave a 8 for the style, because the messy paragraph breaks killed me. I think you could have used italics to mark off the dream section, and just put a note at the beginning stating that the large chunk of italics is a dream. 9 for the spelling and grammar, because although I did not run across and overt flaws, fangirl Japanese completely threw me out of the story. There are english equivalents, I wish more people would use them. 8 for the originality/creativity came only as a precaution of sorts. I haven't read much in the way of Saiyuki fanfiction, and if I had I would probably rate this higher. I REALLY liked the 'we lose, but we stay together' vs 'we win, we part.' 10 for enjoyment factor. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. The characterizations were strong and the mood and ideas really captured me while I read. Overall I gave it and 8, because while this story has it's flaws and is not "amazing" (few are), it is certaintly worth anybody's time to stop and read even if they are not a particular fan of Hakkai+Gojyo.
