You really used some great back story to explain how they would get together. At first I wonderedif that was changing to much of Frank, to make his dead wife a mail-order bride of convenience, but actually it works: He wanted to do something right, even sacrificing, and it was still taken away. Certain parts weren't perfect -- I thought they probably would have gone back to his house from the beginning -- but you never know, certainly male couples often do stay where they met. And I thought Vash's dilemma on his own sexuality was in character... he is written other ways, where it's not a dilemma and that's fine but I prefer this Vash. And that last line, it will haunt me. Also the part about Frank once having been beautiful -- that was very touching. Great job.
