You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, for goodness sake! I liked the story a lot, I'll have you know! It even gave me a few ideas for making a game sequeal to FF8. I think you should continue writing it if you ever read this review, and I hope you do because I think your original characters and the concept situation you've created (a new Galbadian dictator-in-the-making) sound very interesting. If you're your own harshest critic, you'll never get anything done, trust me. Take my word for it, just keep going and see how it ends up.
