The story is very fluid. It bridges the gap of their lives from newly married to children to grown children quite smoothly. I do like the fact that Sess does show human tendency and humility with Rin and he was not afraid to defend her (verbally, not necessarily from physical harm) when needed. One more thing. That other reviewer was so wrong. There is NOT enough Sess/Rin fics. The majority of them is Sess/Kag which is not ideal to me personally. Sess/Kagura pairing does not suit each other. There is some truth about opposite attracts, the yin with the yang, etc. I ought to know, my hubby are I are complete opposite with each other but what fun !!!!

how come everyone does the friggin' sesshy and rin fanfics. i mean seriously, read far enough into the series. he loves kagura. he was, like all depressed when ... ... ... no i don't think i'll tell you, but he loves kagura. please don't get mad at me for technically yelling at you in this comment. i've just seen way to many sessh/rin fanfics and no sessh/kagura ones. this fanfic was my breaking point.
