"To Savor You More" Reviews/Comments [ 9 ] | Title: So so great Reviewed By: Caprice [MediaMiner Member] On: June 11, 2008 00:08 CDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Guess what, there are some Vegeta maniacs still running loose! I am relatively new in this fandom, actually a bit sorry to have arrived after so many of the most wonderful authors had drifted into other fandoms. Never mind that, I am glad I get to read all these fantastic stories (such as this one-shot) and truly have an orgasmic reading experience. Your writing style reminds me of literature, well-versed and very whole and honest in itself. There's no pretention, no strain. I suppose you have heard this a million times already, and for that I apologize, but I am more than a bit sorry you no longer write this character. The sheer complexities of him are the most fascinating I've ever found. So many facets, so many things untold, passion restrained, endless possibilities to his personna. I loved this story. Any exploratory pieces between Frieza and Vegeta that are truly relevant are gold. Much of my appreciation to you, even after all these years, someone reads your DBZ and truly enjoys it. Caprice

You delved into the characteristics of Freeza and Vegeta's "relationship" very well. Very believable, very interesting interaction and I can believe Freeza inhibiting, Vegeta's normal growth patterns. Hm. Um, Vegeta and Nappa munching on the natives is in the Japanese version of the anime as well, it's also in the manga. *raises brow* Darke where ever did you hear that lol? You potrayed Freeza very well Deb, great job! Tara aka Bura400 PS-Toriyama-san I heard also wanted to end right after the Mirai Trunks saga! Thank god that didn't happen! ^_~

You are an amazing writer lol like you have already heard from me, but what are reviews for if not boosting a good author's ego some? Anyway, this is the first fic I've read of yours that was dark, and I loved it. You are really good at making me feel disturbed without going into detail lol, thats a good thing! I love little one-shots like these.. reminds me of Kimmy Jarl's one shots... at least I think that is the name of the author.. you have to read them they are extremely disturbing lol. Anway, I was wondering if you were planning (or if you already had) on writing a sort of biography on Vegeta? I know that you prefer to keep strictly to the cannon... but hey, you can make anything that could have happened to Vegeta in his years on Frieza's ship plausible, and I have enough faith in your writing skills to bet that it would be a fantastic story! Anyway I'm moidering... lol keep up with the your exellent stories!

I read this story a while ago and was shocked to see that I didn't review it. This one-shot is beautifully rendered and gorgeously told. Your characterizations are perfect and the dialogue is engaging and realistic. I enjoyed every part of this; certainly you've made Frieza more real in my mind. ^_^ Excellent, excellent job!

The way Frieza's thoughts were told was good and beautiful, and the characters acted well themselves. Excellent work!

I'm glad to see such quality in the DBZ fandom. I completely enjoyed this fic - I think you delved well into the interaction between Freeza and Vegeta. The unique twists you've added to the story give it much more depth than the usual fare on the web.

Like *some* of us writers, you provided a very plausible explanation for Vegeta's smaller stature in comparison to that of his two massive cohorts. The thought of Frieza manipulating the Saiyan prince's food in the hopes of keeping him "more childlike" so that he could "enjoy him longer" gave me the shivers. As was your intention, I imagine. The Saiyan propensity of consuming their victims was well-established in Vegeta and Nappa's very first appearance in DBZ. Damned if the little red-headed bugger wasn't happily chewing away on a limb of one of the many-armed natives they had killed (couldn't have much liked the taste of that blue flesh, however- he spit out a mouthful and tossed the rest into the fire). Of course, that was Funimation filler and not part of Toyiyama's intrepretation. Then again, according to the series Creator, Vegeta was never meant to be revived after his death by Frieza AT ALL. Sooo, maybe we can thank Funimation for some of their nastier additions to the prince's character after all. Anyway, I want to thank you for a great Hallowe'en tale. Anything with Frieza is spooky and the inner working of his and Vegeta's *relationship* are ALWAYS upsetting. A great job!

The psychological nuances in this are absolutely outstanding and a complete breath of fresh air. It was perfect, absolutely perfect.
