This is really good. I love how you wrote that there were three worlds, I never really thought about it like that. I also love the student's curiosity about the new students. Also, loved how Hiei burnt the entire wall of portraits. Poor Hiei and he was just trying to be nice, ha, ha, ha.

*falls over dead* I don't think I blinked once during that chapter... I was sucked in, and must say, I have a sudden, intense urge to give a shiner to Harry. Yet I can see why he's like that, so I'll desist... for the moment. Hiei and Kurama spying... curiosity gets you so many places... will someone notice the burn later? Or will it heal? So the death-eaters escaped Azkaban, Harry did wandless magic to get his wand... which he still seems to haven't reacqiured. Ah well, though I must say, whatever happened to Snape musta been very painful... *shudders and touches arm* I can't wait to read more!

I can't remember what it was exactly, but something you mentioned in one of your A/Ns led me to believe you spoke japanese. Your dialogue was very good, if on the extensive side. It's obvious that you put time and thought into it. I have no problem with how much dialogue you included but I would suggest that you try and balance that out with action. That is the only criticism I have for this fic. This could be just my personal preference and opinion, but hear me out anyway. (At least in this chapter) While the characters are believable and the events are well maneuvered (and everything is sprinkled with an angst that for some reason makes me picture really dark maroon hallways with dim lighting, lol) not enough actual action is being *written* about, though it is implied. It is difficult to really get into the story when I'm wading through half scenes. Anyway, thanks for getting around to updating and congrats on such a long chapter. :) Until next time, Fuzzy Eared

Welcome back! ^_~ Glad to see an update on this one. Loved the chapter ... and Lupin and Dumbledore are doing good at keeping just the right information away from Harry. Poor thing ... worrying about hurting his friend and being scared of what he saw. Now if I could just get you to update Indebted ... I'd be a really happy reader ^_~ I know ... you'll get to it when you get to it ... but I gotta try once and a while ^_~

Yes... slowly, things are coming together, though I must say your basically torturing Hermoine... I find this amusing. I like how you are keeping her with muggle views, like the one's on demon's, after all, she would have been raised before ever hearing about Hogwarts to be practical... or maybe she just didn't bother believing. But either way, I predict a major view change is going to come in the next couple of chapters, for Hermoine at least. Not all of us have been able to get ahold of the end of the series yet... though I can't wait, as that part 'bout the tabloids sounds amusing. Very amusing.

I must say I'm thrilled to see another chapter for this story. The way you play with the individual characters is highly entertaining. A few points I want to make sure not to forget: 1) I thought you did a very good job with Hagrid's crooked English so don't worry about that. 2) In this chapter you mentioned 7th year Slytherins and it sounded as though you were refering to Malfoy, Harry, etc. But in the first chapter you stated that they are in they're 6th year. 3) The "coffee" scene (as I like to call it) was wonderfully used to develop the characters and yet was still very simple. Not a lot actually happened, but a lot was revealed. The way you are developing the relationship of Kurama and Hiei is very fitting. I'm anticipating future such scenes. It will be interesting to see how well Kurama's character adapts to playing the submissive role. And, on the note of Hiei and Kurama's relationship, I'm looking forward to the developing shonen-ai and the teachers' and students' (namely Hermione's) effects upon and reactions to it, especially with the demons' varying "human" tolerance levels. 4) Draco's demon description is quite believably tied into the HP history. For a moment, I was half expecting him to have an epiphany concerning K and H's natures. 5) I find Hermione highly annoying (enjoyably so), but her confusion and overly complex (as is human) "logic" is very intrinsic to the fic. It adds another layer that is imperative for morphing text into a true story.

Hermione is getting ready to get herself into trouble again eh? And probably drag the boys with her ^_~ Personally, I liked the idea of Hiei giving Draco a "set down" ... he needs it! And poor Hagrid. He loses more of his pets to Voldemorts dramas. Um ... the kitsune is pointed at Hermione? Or just likes messing with her to see what she'll do? hehe ... that's ok, I'll wait and see. Enjoyed the chapter, thanks for updating ^__^
