Another well written story that really pulls at the heart strings. You can't help feeling incredibly bad for Inuyasha at the end, but as you put it, he waited too late. Wow. As great as the interaction between Miroku and Kagome is (and it is great, the discussions of the dreams, the future and everything), what really makes this story stand out is Inuyasha's anguish at the end. Partly because that is the last part you are left with in the story of course, but also because it is bitter sweet. Especially when he really looks at Kagome's face and sees her contentment and realizes it's his fault he wasn't where Miroku is at that moment. Wow. Great story.

Ah, you're wicked - you made me fall in love with Miroku. I somehow feel that I betrayed Inuyasha... Tsk! Wicked. Here I am fishing all my dvds of the Inuyasha series out as I sigh at the miracle that is Miroku. You're wicked. *Cries* But you're wickedly good. Kudos. ~aryanna~

Awww, I almost cried. And even though I absolutely loath angst, this was a really good story. Now I have to read something happy. lol
