I loved this. In so many fics, D is said to be gay, and Leon his first love, so its very refreshing to read one where he not only was in love before, but with a woman! Good job.

This was very bittersweet. We know almost nothing of D's past at all. While it's not hard to guess why Leon is so shocked at the idea, it could have happened, whatever that might have meant to D. There was a great mood and setup here, and I liked seeing D in a serious mood, not lusting after sweets or Leon right that moment.

It was very short and simple. I like that. It was also one one of the best D POVs I've ever read. I really felt like I was watching through his eyes. It was also sad. I would like to see more of this kind of fic. in all fandoms.
