I first read your four-part series a few years ago, and I'm back to re-read. This story was even more amazing the second time. Even though I remembered what was going to happen I was still on the edge of my seat. You show a mastery of suspense, and I love the subtle romantic interplay between characters. Not a comment or moment was out of character, and you've created one of the most memorable villians I've seen to date. My only issue with your writing is your reliance on the present tense, as I find it a little annoying. Not nearly enough to detract from my overall enjoyment of the story, which is why I still gave you a 10 overall. I saw on your author's page that you haven't visited mediaminer in over a year, so I'm not sure you will ever read these comments. Just know that if you ever return there are those who will be eager to read your next work.

MUUUUUCH better than "Colors of Life". This story actually held my attention the whole time and was much harder to predict the outcome of. I wasn't hugely impressed with "Colors" but I think this story is much smoother. You still have problems with tenses (and I still hate present tense writing ^_^;; ) and a little problems with spelling and grammar, but the story itself kinda made up for it, and the whole plot moved much better. Everyone seemed more in-character to me than they did in the previous story. Well done! :D I hope that you eventually pick up this storyline again and keep it coming. :)

What a show-stopper!! The action and adventure ratcheted up to nuclear intensity--!! Sleep,keh; who needs it when there's a 3rd and 4th part to devour? Keep up the great writing, please! :)

By chance I'd stumbled upon your name in reading a review for Bakabokken after contributing one, recognized your name,then took a chance and clicked on it after reading member status following it; glad I had--oh, you have me on the edge of the seat here; just devoured Chapt. 1 of pt 2...Shippou!!! Neglected to mention how I'd enjoyed his characterization in episode 1 as well. Now Inu's trapped?! Arrgghh!

I am really enjoying this story and its even making me 'almost' want to start writing on my own again.
