The previous short-short about the Inu brothers and their fanmail was amusing, but I noted one small point--Japanese distinguishes between "elder brother" (aniki or o-nii-chan) and younger brother (otoutou). Sesshoumaru should be referring to Inuyasha as otoutou rather than oniichan. Aniki/Nii-san/Nee-san and Nii-chan/Nee-chan are also used as nicknames for people you aren't actually related to--for example, Souta calls Inuyasha "Inu-no-nii-chan" (elder brother Dog) in affectionate respect. When I was traveling in Japan with my younger and prettier sister, construction workers used to whistle at her and call her "nee-san," ie, "Hey, sister!" That was actually kind of rude, but rude in the overly-familiar sense rather than the "hey, bitch," sense.

Title: Wonderful! Reviewed By: Sharibet [MediaMiner Member] On: February 06, 2005 18:34 CST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: These are all wonderful, but the final one, Naraku's Happy Ending, was just deliciously, awfully evil. Kitsune stew! But the following comment about Tenseiga was hands-down my favorite part of the story: Perhaps he would find a skilled smith and have the sword reforged into a really nice set of table knives. Although that might not work after all given the blade's more esoteric properties. He couldn't suppress a giggle at the idea of his supper rising back to life every time he went to cut his meat. hisq

Kikyou complete. *bows to the master* --- His Smile - Oooh...I got chills. The matchless Sesshoumaru. His emotional isolation is irresistable. ---- Wonderful! Compelling!
